About Edisac
In 1974, Jean Claude and Edith Deschilder travel to Northern France and sell bags at city markets. They opened their first store in Dunkirk in 1976. A few years later, in the suburbs of Lille, they opened what would become one of the largest stores in Europe specializing in handbags, luggage, schoolbags, and leather goods. Additionally, they opened a store in the heart of Lille. Edisac had six stores in Northern France by the year 2000. After that, the founders decided to open stores in Belgium, which they did in Brugge in 2002. Their son, Arnaud Deschilder, made the decision to launch the website in 2006. In the interim, four new stores have opened in Belgium and northern France. They underwent a complete redesign in 2011 and launched its first television advertisements in 2012 on French national television channels. Today, Edisac is one of the most popular websites devoted to luggage, handbags, schoolbags, and other types of bags.
